A favor: The location is cosy and situated very close to the U-Bahn

station.
Nice apartment within easy reach of the city centre, using public transport. Host

speaks english and was very helpful during our stay. no problem with this apt. I recommend a

stay in apartment Simone Martini in Milan.

A favor: the localization was very good, in a friendly

neighbourhood.
En contra:The apartment was horribly dirty, the carpet in the floor had

visible dust and dirtiness; in the bathroom, the electric cylinder that put the water warmer

was dripping all the time. besides, the vaccum cleaner didn’t work, so we couldn’t clean up

all the mess when we arrived.
At the time we arrived, we phoned to the office of Cytalis

demanding an urgent intervention to clean the whole apartment, however the situation wasn’t

worked out until we left. My children had some allergies related to the dust that covered the

floor and the sofas.

A favor: Our apartment (GRACCHI, Rome) was beautiful! Absolutely

spotless, spacious, in a perfect friendly neighborhood near the Vatican. The landlord arranged

our transport to and from the airport on request and was unfailingly gracious in every way. We

have three kids and it isn’t easy to find good, convenient accommodations in Europe, but we

found it here. We were absolutely thrilled with every aspect of the apartment, the location

and the rental service. Will definitely use again.

teapot for us English. Also an extra teatowel for drying up and a corkscrew would have been

helpful. We bought a corkscrew and left it for other visitors. The water temperature was not

always as it should have been.

A favor: I rented the loft_copacabana in Rio (Brazil). The contact

person forced me to deal with a 3d party company. It was really awkward as I had to pay

someone who was not invoved with only-apartments! Otherwise it was a convenient apartment with

decent amenities.

En contra:On february 22nd, date of our artival, we

were called by the contact person in Paris, comunicating us that we had to be moved from the

booked apartment Pantheon I because of an irreparable damage in the bathroom. They assured us

the same appartment type, quality and city location. The location was not the same but equally

good for moving in the city. The “new” apartement was much more smaller than the booked one, in

the 5th floor with stairs, the kitchen was old and not well equipped without towels or any

kitchen linen. The bathroom was terribly small and divided from the sleeping room only by a

folding plastic door, hairs had been pasted together with the wallpainting, the covering of

the WC falled constantly on the back of user, WC and shower made a terrible noise. The contact

person had painted the walls only the day before probably for trying to give to the “apartment”

a better aspect than it really was, so we had a strong colour smell in the rooms and in our

clothes. We were aware of the possibility of emergency changing as written on your confirmation

form but actually we were not prepared for that lower quality.

the address of a nearby. The room in the hotel did not compare to the apartment and there was

no internet access. The room was not even booked for me, I was left to do that on my own as

any tourist could have done without help from the website. I was not only dissapointed, I felt

like I was being taken advantage of and plan to file complaints.

A favor: The adventure started when arriving at 10.30 at night. We were welcomed by

a terrible smell coming from the bath room. The contact person was less then helpful and would

not give any suggestions about resolving the conditions. In the end we were told that some one

would come the next morning at 9am. No one turned up, so we went to the office at 12noon when

it open. Finally we felt that we were taken seriously. From then everything went well. we were

offered another place, which was very central. The service was great and apologetic. After that

the bad experience was forgotten.

En contra:There is no kitchen in this apartment, in the advertisement it said

that there was no stove but there was no kitchen at all! No plates, no cups, nothing, we had to

eat out all the time, couldn’t even have breakfast in our own apartment.
There was a

videoplayer but it was not connected to the tv en therefore useless..
The shower was very

very little (we are lucky to be rather skinny..) and was not very warm unfortunately..

A favor: Yes, on arrival we were aware that a 300 euro deposit was

required to be paid, but nowhere was it stated that this must be payabel by credit card asnd

that the money is returned by request through an email upon returning home, ten days later. I

was not at all happy as I was expecting, as any normal person would, to pay 300 cash and

collect the 300 again at the end of our stay.

had everything you would need for a short stay. Transport to the sites is superb once you

understand where the buses go. The restaurant Luca took us to on our arrival was excellant and

great value for money considering the high cost of eating out in Rome.

tram outside the door and train station and stefano that met our family was lovely. suitable

for those who would only be sleeping in the apartment and no more than four.

had to pay 2.99 euro for every kwh of electricity we used, there were sign up saying it was not

a hotel and that if we called and they had to come out to us it would be 40 euro. the fridge

was dirty and smelling and pluged out on arrival , there was no electrical kettle, the main

bathroom had a really bad sewage smell, we asked for more bed clothes (only light sheet and

fleece on bed) and were told that it would be too warm for us that it was a fan we needed, it

got quite cold at night. we had four people can not see how 8 people could move around in it

Very bright

apartment, nicely decorated. Good location in the city, near public transport. It was nice that

the owner gave some extra tips how to get around in the city when we arrived. Everything was

there in the kitchen from scissors to a dishwasher.
En contra:Even though all the towels and

sheets were washed, the towels smelled of smoke (pretty badly, so probably they were hung to

dry in an area where someone smokes quite heavily), so we were glad that we brought our own

towels as well. But this is really the only critical point.

sun light at all, furthermore it stinks.It was no possible to stay long periods inside the

apartment because the smell cause alergie in every one.
We were disturbed by neighbours

asking us to remove the clothes from the apartment we were outside to dry and also requested to

move the plants due to a painting service on the walls. I believe that the owners should do

that.
Besides that we were also disturbed by people calling asking for the owner and one

person ringed the bell at midnight also asking for the ownwer.

A favor: The flat is indeed nice and is located very close to the Metro station and

to the cultural center of Monmatre.
En contra:The people who handed the keys to us (Mr &

Mrs Attou) spoke only french. We were asked to give them in advance 70 Euro for cleaning the

flat, while on the regulations table that was in the entrance was written that this 70 Euro is

kept from the caution if the flat is not cleaned upon departure.
The worst was that they

tried to mix up all the money we had to pay upon arrival to keep another 250 Euro from us,

which were not rightfully theirs and for which we had to argue with them (at which point of

course any trace of their english vanished) for 30min to get it back. To me that seemed like an

amateur attempt to steal.
Finally the number of cups, glasses etc in the kitchen was not

enough for 8 people, although we rented the flat for 8 people.

only one week before we arrive in Barcelona this agreament was canslet from your side.

got another aparment with terasse in 1 m. and 5 m.lenght with a wiev over dirt , old

shoes,trach and cirgaret-ends. And every night there was noisy discotek underneed with their

smoke aerea, so the smoke and noise was in our room
In the apartment the heater was

falingdown, we could only get spanish programs om the tv and the water was running out of the

wash in the bath. And if we used oven, and made food the elektriciti stoped, butwe startet it

again

The overall idea of renting apartments is

good and the price/quality of the apartment relationship looks good but the level of service

provided by Citalys in Paris was not at all professional and my stay became a

nightmare.

En contra:On 27/01/2009 I booked through Only Apartments the Barbusse in

Paris. On 02/03/2009 I received an email from Citalys saying that because of some unexpected

reparations to be performed on Barbusse, they were proposing me instead the Rambuteau which was

not conveniently located for me but anyway I accepted. I had to fill out and sign again a

contract and I myself did a cancellation agreement in written for the previous one (Barbusse)

that I asked Citalys to sign. They did it.

Then on the arrival date (12/03/2009) we

couldn’t open the door of the apartment. We tried for 30 minutes with different people. It

seems the owner of it somehow locked it with another key. In Citalys the next day they told me

they are having already legal problems with that owner and it is not the first time they

received a complain. That night of the 12/03/2009 my wife left a message on the answering

machine of Citalys saying we couldn’t open the door. That night of the 12/03.2009 we had to

urgently find a hotel. We found a place in the IBIS of Porte D’Italie. We stayed the night and

the next day we received a call from Citalys saying they apologize for the inconvenience and

that they will find another apartment. Finaly they found one and by 3pm on the 13/03/2009 we

went to pick up the key.

We arrived at the apartment later that day after moving again

all our luggage from the hotel. Unfortunately the apartment was located in an old building on

the 4th floor without elevator. I had to carry 5 pieces of luggage all the way to the top. My

wife carried our baby (7 month old) to the apartment as well. After all this adventure we

wanted to sleep more than enjoying Paris as we were so tired. Up until that moment we felt

those were not vacations where we rest, but on the contrary it was a nightmare. Anyway, that

was what we had. After that I managed to find a parking for the card nearby for 35 euros per

night!

We decided then to cook something so I went down to buy some pasta on the street

plus some things for the breakfast. When I arrived at the apartment we found out that there

wasn’t even a deep pot to cook the pasta! So we decided to eat yogurt and fruits for the night.

The next day we realized there wasn’t any soap to clean the dishes so I bought one to clean

some plates! The door of the bathroom was not working so we couldn’t close it. Then I decided

to connect to the internet to check my emails but there wasn’t any despite the fact that

Citalys told me I should find there a box for that. Then I decided to turn on the TV and it

wasn’t working properly either as the image was freezing every 5 seconds.

Overall, I can

say this wasn’t a very pleasant vacation. I have the feeling that the idea of renting

apartments is very good and that the price/quality relationship is acceptable but the level of

service is not very professional. Just by changing some details you can make the life of people

quite better I would say. First you need to have a check list for each apartment so to make

sure everything is there and working properly. And then, if you know this is for a family,

please do not suggest an apartment located on the 4th floor without elevator! You always need

as well to make sure that each apartment has the minimum so you don’t need to go and buy some

soap to clean the dishes or some simple pan to cook some pasta.

I really hope next time

written that the electricity is included. When you arrive you have to sign a new contact in

spanish. They pay up to pesos 90 every mounth (20 euros) the rest you have to pay. The room is

on the 20th floor with sunshine all the day, you need aircondition. Very expensive. It is 50

degrees inside. I had to pay 60 euros more. I told them this is a mistake, but we came to an

agreement and I paid 33 euros, because they had my deposit.

apartment had the best hair dryer of our 2 week stay in Italy and very comfortable beds with

En contra:The photos on the internet looked nothing like

the actual apartment, It was really run down and in a bad state. We were very dissapointed with

it and the fact that you had to walk up 9 sets of stairs to get to it while exposed to a very

nasty smell was pretty dam awful. The doors to the apartments were like jail doors, which was a

bit worrying. The apartments balcony (little door with hand railings) looked on to a load of

other rundown apartments that were in a terrible state as well and were very noisy. We didnt

like the fact that an old (and i mean old) mop and brush were kept in the bedroom leaning up

against the wall in full-view. The wardrobes had padlocks on them so you couldnt get into them

to hang your clothes either, which was very strange. The kitchen was in a bad state, tiles all

cracked and lots of stains. No curtains on the windows except see through blinds, windows in a

bad state. Had to have cold showers most of time too, not much hot water. Lots of cracks in all

the walls…i could go on forever. All in all it was terrible and was not worth the money.

Extremly dissapointing.

A favor: Very central in BCN. The apartment was bigger than

we expected and had afternoon-sun. The wiev was to a backyard.
En contra:The apartment was

old and gave the impression to be a little durty. But it functioned OK with bath and toilet

separeted. Towls were ok, but the sheets were full of spots.
The big MINUS was the walls

between us and the neighbours: The family was not special noisy, but we could hear every word,

they said, music, steps, shower etc. The man took a shower every morning at 5 o’clock and slap

the door when leaving the apartment 15 minutes later, and after that I could’nt sleep any

more. 7 nights like that. PLEASE spend some money to isolate!!

A favor: Good location. Fair value for money. Unit was at 226

Laterano.
En contra:Although inexpensive would have expected: better cultlery and dishes,

saucepans, cups, etc. Some basics would have been useful such as salt. pepper, sugar. Having

person in pull down bed having to go through main bedroom to bathroom inconvenient. No “easy”

chairs to sit in. Other chairs needed repair. No light over stove. Lights inadequate: difficult

to see and read at night. Tourist information (map, etc) and information on subway and bus

travel would have been useful. Cushion covers need cleaning.

when U move a little bit when you sleep the bed creakingly wake up us.
And if you you move

the center by public transpotration.,don´t 15min ,We don´t have a internet /that was wery

important to oss/we was very stressed searching every day an internet caffe we needed it for

We had a great time at Cuitat Vella, La Ramblas, Barcelona. A sweep

with a brush under the beds would be advised though. Spacious, basic.

I can recomend ExperienceAptm in Barcelona, everything was in great order, good contact, good location – close to Park Guell and within easy reach to metro station L3 wich takes you to the centre.

* If you are bringing a car, be prepared to pay about 24 Euros per day for a parking at the nearest hotel (Lesseps) because it’s practically impossible to park at the streets.

Da Vinci apartment in Trastevere Rome:
It would have been ok if it wasn’t for that we were 2 familys and only had one pair of keys.
But worst of all was the harendously big electricity price rate!! 20 times bigger than back home in Sweden!!!

Is this really ok with Only-Apartments?!
