Berlin is a huge beautiful European capital, but when you travel with children to a big metropolis, you have to respect their special needs and wishes. You just can’t ignore what your children want. Fortunately, it offers a wide range of possibilities for the kids. In addition to special kids-programs in theatres, cinemas and museums, a walk through the capital can be a beautiful experience for both you and your children.

Is your child a complete whirlwind? Don’t worry, there are many chances in the city for those children who need to get rid of excess energy: from playgrounds and zoos, to boat trips, walking tours, museums or cinemas… ¡Everything you want!
For a cultural and fun experience Berlin has near 200 museums with plenty of offers for children: for example, the Nature Museum, which includes huge dinosaurs, always a hit for with the youngsters and the German Museum for Technology, which has a beautiful real airplane and 14 different exhibition halls, including engines, locomotives, ships, airplanes and so on. There are other museums where touching is compulsory! This is the case of the Technical Museum, full of operational historical machines! The awesome Toy Museum will captivate your little kids as well. There they can play with all different kinds of toys, like for example Lego, an electric railway, little solidiers ready for the combat etc.
Once you and your children have visited all the museums, maybe they want to try the incredible local underwater world in the biggest worldwide aquarium, the AquaDom. To learn more about other animals you can bring your kids to the Zoo. The Berlin Zoo is the oldest zoo in Germany and the one which has the largest number of species. It has two little stars to highlight: the hippopotamus aquarium and the little polar bear called Knut.
They’ll surely love the Imax 3-D Potsdamer Plazt Cinema at Potsdamer Platz! There your children will see amazing movies on a huge screen (588 sqm) in 3-D format. The indoor Legoland theme park is one of the main attractions for children located at Potzdamer Platz. Built with 1.5 million Lego bricks, children can enjoy fun rides and adventure trails made completely out of Lego. It includes the chance for kids to test their creations on a car racing track or earthquake table, as well as a miniature city of Berlin built entirely from Lego. It is the perfect activity for a rainy day. Lego Berlin is for you!
Maybe the kids are tired from walking all the day long. Not a problem! Take them on a boat tour through Berlin’s historic city centre. You’ll enjoy the best Berlin views and landmarks without moving from your comfortable seat!
Finally, you shouldn’t miss the famous Tiergarden of Berlin. This is the biggest park in the city and full of nature: lakes, trees. There your children can run and play freely, while you rest or explore its more than 600 acres or have a coffee in the middle of the park.
Now you don’t have any excuses. Take the first flight to the German capital and rent the best apartments in Berlin. You’ll love it!
