A favor: great apartments
En contra:little bit expensive for the size of the bedrooms
A favor: The design of the apartment is neat and very handsome, not always practical, though.
The contact person was amiable and punctual. She does a good job, is a bit unexperienced.
It was a pleasure to correspond with the owners - they are very friendly and understanding.
En contra:Suggestions for improvements:
[1] provide in advance the cell phone number of the contact person
[2] provide on-the-spot information about nearby facilities, e.g. internet café, trattoria (!), restaurants, grocery and drug stores, bus stops including departure times
[3] add kitchen knives (the contact person told us she is going to) - provide salt- and pepper shakers and a few more storage pots
[4] inform in advance about what is NOT provided in the apartment; for instance, there was not a single sheet of toilet paper when we arrived at 10 pm - we had to improvise and buy it ourselves the next morning
A favor: Great location - staff were helpful - place was nicely renovated
En contra:The foldout bed did not have any bedding on it. That was very poor.
Also we were told that if we used more than one set of linen we would be charged 30 EUR. You should be entitled to one set per nights stay - we stayed for 2

En contra:One of the internal rooms had a automatic lock on the door, which could not be opened from inside the room. The door blew shut and we couldn’t get into the room (which had all our personal belongings & money inside) for 1 day. There was no response from the contact person, despite a message being left. It appeared that this had happened in the past, and will likely happen again unless fixed.
A favor: Excellent location, nice surrounding.
En contra:Front door lock caused difficulties. Didn’t work propely.
A favor: The apartment was very comfortable and I enjoyed my weekand in Budapest.
En contra:I don t have any complains.
A favor: No. The apartment was really nice and was in the perfect location. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. Also the people we dealt with on the apartment were very nice and helpful so 10/10 all round.

Plenty of linens, very clean comfortable, fit a family of 5 very comfortably.

A favor: A cosy and quiet, fully equiped (Internet access+PC) appartment with a nice balcony, located just at a perfect location (supermarkets and shops, bus, tram and subway) in the city.
The contact person was very friendly and helpfull.
Realy nothing to complain
En contra:Pro and Con: The appartment does not get direct sun light, which is very good in summer (gets very warm in Budapest), but could be a pain during winter times. Therefore the big bath tub is for cold weather the perfect compensation
A favor: I love that there was a full kitchen. It helped me save money so that I didn’t have to eat out everyday.
En contra:
A favor: Big and nice appartment. The kitchen is great with lots of space and all the equipment you might want. The location is good, close to the town centre but in a quiet street. There is a bar around the corner (about 50 meters away) but we’ve found that even with the windows open on a busy saturday evening you can’t really tell it’s there. The appartment matched the discription on the internet, but it still exceeded our expectations. Contact with the owner went smooth. The underground parking lot is perfect. It’s locked with a full automatic door, so nobody without access can reach it. The parking spaces are really big, so the change of someone scratching your car is small. Perfect for a nice time in Edinburgh!
The views from the appartment aren’t great (not bad either), but this is usually the case in a city centre.
En contra:Not really any big issues, but if I have to mention anything it would be that there is no coffee machine. This off course is evident with visiting the UK.
A favor: Good prices.
En contra:It would be excellent for every point if there was no problems with a hot water at the day we arrived. Actually there was no hot water in the morning of 2.6.2009.
A favor: The apartment was fantastic value for money, clean and comfortable - with friendly neighbours. The location was a really great part of Budapest, on the banks of the Danube. Also, the local restaurants and bars (recommended by the owner János) were great!
En contra:

A favor: Well maintained and clean apartment - very friendly and hospitable owner. Incredible views (although requiring a walk up a good many steps from town to apartment) and good facilities. Communication with provider straightforward and quick. Apartment contact easily reached and eager to help. Efficient service all round.
En contra:Not so much an ‘against’ as a suggestion - that there are so many steps between the apartment and the town might cause problems for some travellers and therefore this feature might be specified a little more clearly in the literature.

En contra:Next time I shall choose an apartment with windows with an outlook and with somewhere to sit outside. We had an amazing time in Barcelona and will hopefully return before too long
A favor: The location was amazingly close in. We would love to stay there again if we had the privilege to return to Florence. Also, communication with the owner and with Only-Apartments was helpful.
En contra:The washing machine did not work. That was the only negative.
A favor: i enjoyed my experience in the Amber suite..well located in Krakow and beautifully renovated.

A favor: We enjoyed meeting with our contact person Corrado, pleasant and friendly, helped us with arranging transportation to the airport.
Location of the apartment was very close to the train station and we enjoyed the neighborhood. The pull-out coach was comfortable and sheets were clean.
En contra:The floors were extremely dirty. My two year old daughter was covered with dust balls and her socks and pants turned black from the dirt on the floor. There was dog hair under the bed and only one garbage can in the whole apartment.
No toilet paper!
I think this apartment needs a new cleaning lady!!

A favor: The apartment was exacly as described. In the very center of Rome for a very good price. I would love to stay there again and I can defenitely recommend it.

Location a bit risky late at night.
Lift (elevator) in apartment building repeatedly failed in the 7 days we were there, trapping one of us once. The lift is fairly new, but urgently needs either fixing or an upgrade.
A favor: The organization and the service was very nice and helpful.
En contra:Unlike its name (sunnyvenice), the apartment is unfortunately very dark and humidity is very high. (This is of course partially because of Venice) but there is no way for one to spend time in the apartment except sleeping. And it could have been much cleaner (there were still some garbage left from previous guests in the bathroom)

En contra:The apartment was nice, but it was terribly noice from 6 am in the morning. There was building constructions (extremely noice) at the house next door. About 30 meter from our house - on the stair of the chatedral - ther was collecting of garbage every morning at about 7 o’clock and a truck came and destroing garbage. So - in fact - it was impossible to sleep after 6 am in the morning. It was not nice at all, and we made an agreement with the house owner so we payed less . But we would prefere to sleep well insted! Our meaning is that this apartment is not good for any customer, even if the construction works stops, because there will still be garbage-collecting in the morning.
It was difficult to communicate with the housekeeper, because she could not speak english. She had a friend to help the last day when we made the agreement of payment.
A favor: Loved the location - on Montcada in Barcelona. The apartment had a delightful feel to it. Beds were very comfortable.
En contra:Was under the impression that it was newly renovated and in better condition. Found it to be a bit shabby - walls need repair and new paint, towels are too old or need to be sanitized better, some areas need serious cleaning like the detergent filler of the washing machine - it was black with mould.
I can live with many stairs to climb and short supply of hot water, but cleanliness is of utter importance.

En contra:The apartment looked very nice on the fotos (congrats for the photographer), but in reality it was a black hole! At 14.00 clock it was so dark in the apartment that I didnt found the bathroom door! The kitchen looked nice on the photo but it was actually on the balcony! Tehere was no hot water in the kitchen, because there was no hot water pipe! we heard everything from our neighbours, because the walls were paper thin. The air conditioner was more than dirty! I took some photos but I can’t upload them, they would speak for themselfs!
A favor: Spacious apartment; comfortable beds and plenty of extra blankets; excellent security (have never seen so many bolts on a door!); friendly contact person. Nice to have a patio. Impressed that there was a hair dryer! No noise from neighbours; some from outside. Out of the city centre but very close to good supermarket, bus routes and excellent ice-cream parlour.
En contra:Shower poor - temperature regulation erratic and water pressure low - and the bathroom could have been cleaner.
An information sheet in the apartment would be useful - eg where to get bus, where/when to put out rubbish, how to use washing machine, etc.
Furnishings functional but rather run down.
Suggest have a few more cooking pots or a microwave.
A favor: The best in this apartment was the situation. The beach was near and we lived among the local people. Not “steril” living like in luxus hotels. Felt strogly the way of living in Barceloneta.
En contra:When we arrived the apartment was very humid and there was a smell of sewer. The air-conditioning fixed the humidity but the smell never totally went away.
A favor: Very close to everything. Good location in terms of rampla, habour food ect.
En contra:No 55m2 terrasse as promissed!! Very Dirty appartment. Dirty Towels, Dirty beds. New building under construction where the balcony should have been. Very noisy, since building construtors started at 08.00-17-00!!! Impossible to stay in appartment during these hours. Appartment full of building dust from construction site just outside. This appartment should be removed from your webpage or seriously downgraded.

A favor: Everything was great. The contact person was extremely friendly and helpful. Will stay there again.
En contra:Some construction work going on next door only slightly annoying on the first few days.
A favor: We were a little apprehensive about using an apartment instead of a hotel as we had never tried this in Paris before but everything was perfect. Cheaper than a hotel, much better quality of furnishings & equipment, and complete freedom during our stay. We will definitely use this facility again.
En contra:
A favor: Great Location and the Apartment was exactly as described.
The contact person was brilliant, on time to deliver keys on arrival and to collect keys on return.
En contra:The hallway and stairs are a not very welcoming and in disrepair.
Although there were cement bags at the entrance indicating that there might be renovations about to take place.

En contra:Would have liked more duvets/blankets available as some beds only had single sheets.
The only other issue we had was that we checked out of apartment at 10.30am and were told that we could leave our luggage in a nearby office. When we got to the office - it was closed and wasn’t due to open until 14.30pm which was no use to us. Would have been helpful to have been told that by the contact person at the time as we wasted time and had hassle trying to find an alternative option. Apart from that - we were very happy with the overall experience.
A favor: The apartment was large and spacious, great location, the owner (Rosa) was very helpful and gave us some good ideas of places to go. Everything we needed was supplied (towels, linen, kitchen stuff etc). The apartment felt very secure and safe, and I would definitely stay there again.
En contra:The floor needed a proper clean rather than just sweeping, and we used the washing machine which unfortunately leaked water all over the kitchen and hallway.
A favor: Anythingelse was ok. Cheap and quite clean.
En contra:OBS! Garbridge containers in front of the apartment!! The bedroom uppstair was too warm to sleep in june!!

En contra:view was a bit crap -overlooking the rear of the building and the internet didn’t work, but other than that it was a great apartment.

En contra:I stayed at the ETO VENICE, Calle della Frezzaria, Venice.
While the apartment was nice (but very small) the laneway at the entrance was quite an awful experience.
Men are using it as an outside toilet, I came home several nights to see men urinating against the front door and doing other things there.
I would strongly suggest a locked security gate be put in the laneway to prevent the doorway been used as public toliet.
A favor: There were no air condition in Tao apartment in the ground floor and with poor air circulation.

I’ve read the ‘conditions’ very carefully before booking and it says “Check-out time conditions on departure: there are no restrictions” which means we shouldn’t pay for it.

Nice and practical apartment
Easy to book online, quick response.
En contra:1) Most important: No contract copy for me when signing and paying upon arrival - both parties should have a contract, and info on the security deposit should be included. As it is now, I have left my credit card number to a person I don’t know, without any security against misuse.
2) The dishwasher was out of order.
3) We were 6 persons, staying for 4 hot summer days - the need for showers at least twice a day was clear - but only had one towel each for the whole stay. When on vacation, you don’t want to wash towels (even if there was a washing machine) - at least two towels per person should be included when staying for several days.
A favor: Clean, central, had mostly all we needed for our stay, clear instructions for appliances (the booklet was a good idea), pleasant, friendly and efficient contact person ( she was there when we arrived), little shop for essentials close by, lift. The flat was quiet too and felt reasonably secure.
En contra:The persianas (blinds) in our bedroom did not work and the thin curtains let in a lot of light so it was difficult to sleep. We had to hang a blanket over the window. It is worth putting up some heavy curtains until the persianas can be replaced (or perhaps not replaced, as the people staying in the apartment may not understand how they work). There was no plug for htebasin or bidet in the bathroom but this provided on the same day we reported it.
It would have been very useful to have a chair in the bedroom and a mirror set into the door of the wardrobe. The only mirror in the apartment was in the bathroom.

I easy found the location of the apartment using the information from the email ; the apartment is located near the historical center (Ramble )
En contra:the smell around the apartment and sometime in ; the neighbors made a lot of noise in the early morning or in the evening .
A favor: The apartment itself was lovely and mainly what we expected. It was a great location and not too noisy nearby. We had everything we needed and the lady who owned it appeared on time at the beginning and end
En contra:When we got there the whole of the front of the building was covered in scaffolding so we were completely unable to use the balcony as workmen were storing concrete on it and working on it from as early as 8am. This meant we couldn’t even open the shutters during the mornings and were in complete darkness except for lights. Add to this the fact the workman were using what sounded like pneumatic drills on some mornings for several hours and on one occasion sanding down and repainting the shutters so that they banged against the windows for a couple hours also at 8am. We had at first decided not to complain about this as we had liked the lady and her little girl who owned the apartment and as we had a wonderful holiday apart from this and felt that it wasn’t really their fault - although many people would have instantly complained and requested money back. So you can understnad how disappointed we were when the lady came to check the apartment and decided to keep our deposit… The first thing she did was open the shutters and look at the wooden floor and claimed that we had made marks with our stiletto heels on it. We had barely walked on the floor in shoes so this was ridiculous and she was clearly looking out for it so it makes me wonder if she gets everyone this way. We had no way of countering this as she barely spoke a word of English, the agency refused to translate for us when she rang up and we had a plane to catch. I have sent an email back to apartmentsramblas requesting they arrange for a refund of 150euros of the rent or the 150euros deposit. If they are able to sort this satisfactorily then I may consider using the organisation again and allow for it being one scamming landlady and refrain from placing bad reviews about them on Tripadvisor and elsewhere, but it was a really disappointing end to what had otherwise been a lovely holiday in spite of the balcony and noise problem. Beware - Gemma Costa of Room Princesa in the El Born district of Barcelona
A favor: The appartment (Sé-Cathedral, Lisbon) is well located and suited for visiting and enjoying the city. It’s also well mantained, clean, and well equipped. And Tiago and Valeria were readily available and helpful on their assistance for finding the appartment, helping with the luggage and providing general info on the city (thanks for it!)
En contra:A bit rough to access, as you cannot come very close with the car, and the public parking is some 8 bloks away. Walking up the 3 stories with the luggage can be a bit rough (but Tiago helped quite some).
A favor: Our apartment in Florence was the best apartment we stayed in dueing our 2 months in Europe. Great location, facilities etc, and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. I hope to get back to florence and stay again at this location
En contra:
A favor: Nothing for.
En contra:Old apartment, floors grotty, ants in the kitchen, furniture old and worn out. No basic supplies, detergent, soap, etc. Needs some TLC.
A favor: the location in the city was great. the location of the apartment on top of the roof was also good. the appartment was comfortable and has a simple but very stylish, modern interior. the kitchen equipment was good and modern as expected.
En contra:the contact person was friendly but came nearly half an hour too late without any apologize. but maybe thats normal in spain:-)
we were astonished that the appartment wasnt ready, when we arrived at 2:00pm. the cleaninglady just began their work for an hour.
in the appartment information there was a picture with a big flatscreen for the TV. but there was just a very small ordinary TV with poor 7 spanish TV programms. the radio doesnt work very well. the grill on the terrasse was dirty and unusable.
conclusio: the apartment was nice. but for the description of the apartment, we expected a litlle bit moore fot the amount of money.

A favor: Location was very good. Neighbours in the block sweet and helpful.
En contra:As we arrived the owner of the aptm. was away and had a sweet young girl to do the job she spoke very poor English and as there eas alot of info, misunderstanding of system with payment and WE WERE ONLY OFFERED ONE SET OF KEYS (as the previous guests had lost one set). We were a family of 4 ADULTS + one child OBVIOUSLY we needed more keys. First day the door smacked locked w/keys inside and we could have had a massive problem if it wasnt for our neigbour upstairs who worked for 3 h and finaly managed to open it with an xray. We cut anoteher set. The owner could have done that. It also felt alittle cramped in there with lots of unesessary furniture. When you offer it for several people to rent you should furniture practicaly and spacious. Also there were lots of stuff left from other people - THROW that its only filty. Dirty tableclothes an mess in drawers and behind washing-machine etc. I chose an aptm as we needed fexs. a washing-mashine as we traveleb w/baby THAT DIDNT WORK - I sendt an message an asked them to have a look at it…nothing happened.
A favor: good location and connectivity;

En contra:Friendly hosts, but they don’t really speak English. It’s not really complain, but there ware small details that made some bad impression and discomfort like:
broken shower wall stand;
single roll of toilet paper for 4 person for whole week is not enough;
no soap, shampoo and dish soap;
no spices (salt, peper, sugar, etc), no coffee, no tee, no cooking oil;
the boiler is on gas and from time to time stops while you are taking a shower (the boiler is outside the bathroom). Also there is not really cool water, just hot or cold.
One of the neighbours seems to have mental disorder, so you can hear him singing or moaning during daytime.
No cleaning or towel changing within a week.
A favor: Everything was OK
En contra:
Great location. Flat typical of Napoli - slightly disorganised but fun.
A favor: You had everything you needed. Ofcourse, the appartment wasn’t that big, but you didn’t have to pay a 1000€. You had a comfortable bed, a couch, a kitchen with everything you need to make dinner/lunch.
En contra:The bathroom was really small.. We didn’t really mind. We are all thin and could perfectly fit in the shower, but if you’re a little bit fatter you might not even fit in the doorway to the bathroom. That might be an issue.

En contra:There is a shared entrance to both the holiday room and owners apartment - unfortunately the holiday room’s bathroom is only accessible from the shared hallway, so there is a slight privacy issue.
A favor: everything very good. Apartement quality, location and friendliness of the owners.

A favor: The Felici family is very courteous and had made all arrangements to ensure that we had a comfortable stay, the apartment was even better than our expectations with direct bus routes to reach the centre of Rome. It also has stores/shops at the vicinity for our daily requirements.

A favor: Great place, five guys going to the Primavera Sound festival and this fitted our needs just perfectly. Would do the same again next year

A favor: I stayed in the BOT studio apartment just off The Ramblas. I looked around for a very long time to try and find a budget apartment or hotel for Barcelona and this was by far the best deal. The apartment was in a very central location, it was clean, it was on the 3rd floor so it felt safe to leave the windows open at night when we slept, the apartment was very well ventilated so we always felt cool even on the hottest days.
A lot of the apartments required quite a substantial deposit which would be refunded when we left, BOT apartment did not require this.
Barcelona is an expensive city to visit and there are not a great number of clean, affordable and convenient places to stay if you are travelling on a budget and so I think that for the price this is an excellent apartment and great value. I would thoroughly recommend it.
En contra:There is nothing really to complain about with this place, but I think it would be good to say that the apartment is on a pretty noisy street with a bar just outside, so you WILL NEED EARPLUGS unless you are a very deep sleeper! Also, if I was nitpicking, the decor might not be the most up to date and the kitchen is not singing and dancing with all mod cons. But these are small concerns - BOT apartment is excellent value, it was perfectly clean, everything worked, and the central location meant that everything was on your doorstep.
A favor: Good situation in a quiet and nice area. Cool house, very appropiated for summer. Friendly contact person. There is a nice and small place in front of the house, where children can play without dangers. There is a supermarket near.
En contra:It is not very close to San Marco Squard (20 minutes walking) but the walk is very nice.
A favor: Neil allowed us to stay right until we were due to leave for our flights which meant we didn’t have to carry our suitcases around with us all day. this did us a big favour and we are very greatful we would recommend it to our friends. nice apartment great location.

En contra:Yes, the balcony was suppose to be 14 sqm, it was very small and dirty.
The lift up to the apartment was so narrow, we could not get the very smallest stroller for our baby in.
The kitchen did not have an oven, very odd when it says there is a kitchen containing everything you need.

En contra:The lighting was a little dim in some rooms. We were unable to access the apartment at 2pm since the cleaner was late.

En contra:There is a wifi router somewhere in the house but the signal is very low and drops completely every now and then.
The kitchen inventory is inadequate. Simple things like wine glasses are missing.
The TV sits at a location which does not allow normal programme watching; in fact it is completely unusable
A favor: The apartment itself was exactly as described and as depicted in the pictures on the site — it was very cute and suited our purposes for a short visit. It was also near several cafes and bars that we liked very much, our street was quite charming and we were very, very close to the Schonleinstrasse U-bahn stop, which was incredibly convenient.
En contra:The two difficulties w/ our apartment:
1) The fact that there was no phone. Our American mobiles don’t work when we’re abroad (that’s true in every European country we’ve visited), but we expected that we’d have a phone in our apartment to use. When we asked our host about it, he said that prior renters had made international calls and then left w/o paying the bill. But in other situations when I’ve been travelling abroad, the host has simply restricted phone service to local calls — a relatively easy thing to set up w/ any phone company. The difficulty of making plans with friends using only email as a resource for communication was pretty absurd (not to mention, for example, being unable to call and arrange a cab to the airport when it was time to leave. We had to have a friend staying across town call and set it up for us!). No apartment rental should ever not have a phone. Ever.
Also, there is no identifying information on the buzzer. They should note it so that if a couple — as we are — can do activities apart (you only have a one set of keys between you, which is normal with a rental like this). Not being able to buzz up at night, for example, made things more complex than they needed to be.
A favor: This (P.ESPAÑA-SANTS2) and other flat (P.ESPAÑA-SANTS1) on the floor is owned by the same person, so you can have 2 groups of 4-5 people going together. I my case one was for me & my friends, other was used by my father. So this apartment was also nice in general with:

every bedroom has its own wardrobe;

En contra:The poorest thing of this apartment is that in the shower cabin there is no place at all for soup or any other stuff, so the only way is to keep them on the floor somewhere. Also there were no soap, shampoo, dish soap, spices etc provided. Just lining and towel.
It’s not a hotel, but after all few basic things should be available, like the shower stand. In this apartment there was no shower stand at all.
The space was not quite rational, but you can live it for few days. You can communicate with landlord, but more with gestures than actual English. Otherwise they are very friendly.

En contra:I staied in front of the apartment for 2 hours waititing the owner to bring me the key, the building was too old and the owner forgot to meet me to return my 300 euros of deposit… almost lost my flight!!! He didn`t speak in english at all.

A favor: Info about apartment on your website was fine and correct, and the pictures gave good impression of what we could expect. Pre-arrival mail contact with Noemi was very helpful and friendly, so we felt welcome already before we arrived in Barcelona. Reception staff was very helpful, e.g. about making restaurant and taxi reservations and giving practical information, although one receptionist did not speak much English. On arrival and departure we met Monica, who was extremely nice, spoke good English, and had very good humour. Location of apartment is very good.
En contra:It would be helpful if some practical things were available, so that visitors don´t have to buy everything needed for even simple cooking (we only took breakfast in the apartment). Things such as kitchen paper towels, an extra dishcloth, salt and pepper, sugar, and hand soap (instead of the gel in small tubes) would be useful. Operation of the TV was very difficult, so a guide to its operation and the channels available would be very welcome.

En contra:there are mice in the apartment!we can hear the sound of the mice and see the droppings of the mice in the kitchen. so we cannot use the kitchen as there are holes in therew that the mice will come out. and we canmot sleep due to the sound of the mice because they keep running on the ceiling! and there are bad smell n the lift! this make us want to vomit! and some of the equipment are broken down. such as the glass in the bathroom and the lock of the door!

On of the bedrooms only had windows that opened on a small ventilation shaft, so it was too stuffy to sleep in there, There were 2 beggars out on the street every day who were very annoying (loud and in the way of everyone)

En contra:We saw two or three cockroaches in the apartment, but I know they’re common and can be hard to master when they’ve made their way into the apartment. So really, besides that I have no complaints what so ever.

En contra:Designated contact person wouldn’t answer the phone. Eventually sent a “delegate” who was very serviceable. The building is undergoing restoration so as from 8:30 in the morning it became quite noisy.

And we didn’t get the same apartment that we booked on the internet if my memory is correct. I would say the apartment was too small for four people, there wasn’t more then two chairs and no floorspace at all.

My husband and I left the apartment ALLADA VERMELL after two nights instead of staying the full six and lost much money because we were scammed in to paying a cleaning fee that was not in the contract. The person listed as the “Owner” was actually on broker representing the owner, who sent one of her employees to deal with us. The apartment was in terrible shape, with terrible mold in the bathroom that smelled throughout the entire apartment, dust everywhere, and laundry from the last guests left drying on the balcony. The clothes dryer and coffee maker did not work and the refrigerator had a strong bad cheese smell. Nothing was as represented in the contract and we would like to have more of our money returned. I will be calling Only-apartments to report all of this directly.

En contra:Being asked when we arrived for 70 euros for cleaning, by the person handing over the keys, which we had not expected. On contacting the owner we were told we did not need to pay this fee. We felt if we had been notified in advance we may have perhaps given some of the amount, but found the amount being asked far too much and not usual as cleaning is usually included in the rental fee.
