Folsom Europe Berlin, the biggest party the continent gay-leather – Part 2
Aug 27th, 2010 by apartmentblogger
Recently we talked Folsom Europe Berlin festival, the biggest European gay leather fetish street fair, where there will be over twenty thousand people who want to listen to good music, dance, share experiences, and of course, look bold and sexy in leather, vinyl and rubber clothing… And, above all, enjoy several days in good company.

The first week of September the seventh edition of the Folsom Europe fair will be held. Back in 2003, two members of the German gay-leather team Daniel Ruester and Juergen Rentzel decided to create a street fair in the image of Folsom San Francisco, which gathers over three hundred thousand people in the city. The idea was quickly accepted, and after the creation of the cultural association Folsom Europe, a large number of members, volunteers and corporate sponsors began to shape the encounter …
The majority of events organized for the week of Folsom Europe, especially the late night parties PERVERTS and PIG are reserved exclusively for men. However, women’s leather community which includes fetish fans, lesbians and transsexuals grows each year, so a few years ago the organizers of the event started to hold a parallel festival for them. This year the dates are from Friday the 3rd to Sunday the 5th.
In this festival, expect great barbecues, outdoor events like “speed dating” discussion about sadomasochistic film with a touch of post-feminist porn, and of course BDSM play parties … The main party is called Lost in Translation, and it will take place on Saturday night at Equipage club in Nostizstrasse.
Folsom Europe is always looking for volunteers are to make the event run smoothly: public relations, event coordinators, BDSM experts who want to offer free demonstrations … If can offer any of these skills to the organizers; they will surely give you a big discount on the events. Now all you need to do is rent apartments in Berlin and prepare your best outfits!
