The closer activities are related to the 13th edition of the festival mil-Lenni, which is held between January and March 2012 with the participation of 24 musicians of the highest international level. Among them Goran Bregovic (Feb. 24) and Pablo Milanes (March 2), also Bebe and Sidonie, (February 17 and February 28 respectively), who will perform at the Palau de la Música. The tickets are between 18 € and 96 €.
Among the activities that everyone in Barcelona awaits is the Sonar festival, which this year will be held on 14th, 15th and 16th of June. Sonar is a festival of music, art and multimedia that takes place in different spaces in Barcelona. Considered a pioneer event in terms of content and format, it harmoniously combines cutting edge electronic music, experimental with the fun activity of experiencing music and dance with great talent. There are: Day Sonar and Night Sonar with performances of the best musicians. If you do not want to miss these three days of joy and music, simply book your entrance tickets in advance.
San Miguel Primavera Sound 2012 is another classic event in Barcelona. This music festival attracts thousands of Spanish and Europeans, because it brings together the best indie bands, in a showcase for music companies worldwide and for the public, the possibility to hear the best bands in electronic music. This year, the festival will be held from the 30th of May to the 3rd of June. Björk, Franz Ferdinand, A $ AP Rocky, The XX, Archer of Loaf and 8 bands are already confirmed. The ticket price is 180 € plus expenses.
Among the most important concerts scheduled for this year are Madonna’s concerts on the 20th and 21st of June at Palau Sant Jordi. There is no fixed entrance fee and the tour is part of the annual calendar of pop music. Diva Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone is one of the most powerful icons of music, her performances new wave, dance, pop, music electronic and rock have marked more than a generation.
For those who love good cinema, the 19th edition of L’Alternative, Festival de Cinema Independent de Barcelona, is a must. It will be held between the 16th and 24th of November. Here you will be able to see film and video in different formats.
