Erotic Dining in Barcelona: Sometimes you don´t have to wait for dessert!

We talked recently of the close, yet not always well explored relationship between eroticism and food, and how it is impossible to find restaurants in which to play erotic games with food. However, it is possible to find places which are not restaurants, but occasionally offer unique opportunities to “play with things to eat.” For example, in the Raval district of Barcelona, the BDSM cultural association The Scorpion’s Nest http://www.nidodelescorpion.com recently organized a very special dinner called “Serrano’s Body Party” … (Serrano of course refers to the famous Spanish ham)

The Scorpion’s Nest have also organized a number of nyotaimori dinners (“body sushi”) during which sushi, sashimi and other Japanese delicacies are served on the body of a naked woman. However, the “Serrano’s Body Party” featured a somewhat different approach, since the food served on naked bodies were Iberian products and regional delicacies: Guijuelo ham, sandwiches of sobrasada from Mallorca with capers and honey, Aragon sausage , Idiazábal cheese with quince paste, escalivada and anchovy tarts … the human tray was covered in fruit for dessert, along with various pastries, truffles and artisanal candies, topped off with a good dose of cream, raspberry syrup and chocolate sauce. Moreover, unlike in body sushi, explicit permission was given to the guests to “play” with the human trays (two female and one male), so it was possible to lick, caress, scratch, and play all while enjoying good food spiced with a strong dose of sensuality.

There is no definite date yet for the next Serrano themed dinner in the Scorpion’s Nest, but knowing everyone’s weakness for fine cuisine and eroticism, expect one soon. Prepare by renting apartments in Barcelona and looking for the perfect bottle Rioja red wine to accompany dinner…
