Location
Sergey is nice and friendly. With a European cell phone you are prepared to pay roaming charges for, he is reasonably accountable (though communication is a little cumbersome given his English) (I have not checked email communication)

– Sergey is OK reliable.
– Annoying is that the website says there is an internet connection. There isn’t. This was a very big deal for me these days. It cost me a lot of money and also miscommunication.
– Some things do not work

The location was excellent, 2 minutes from St. Peter’s square and not far from the historical centre.
The apartment was comfortably large with a nice living room.Two bathrooms helped to significantly speed up morning routine for a large group.

GRAN VIA D - Barcelona

Good location; about 10 minutes walk from Placa Espanya from where there is the underground station and one can catch busses.

we didn’t have hot water all the time, especially in the night. maybe there are some problems with the heating system
also the bed sheets are clean but rather old with a long history (:)) and need to be replaced

ROMANTICAROMA1 - Rome

We stayed in Rome at RomanticaRoma on Via Candia near the Vatican. Excellent location, decent apartment, convenient to shopping, restaurants, transportation and sites. Diego arranged transport to and from the airport, which was convenient.

No internet as advertised. No phone. We had many miscommunications with Diego, which (on top of/because of no internet) was frustrating. The dishwasher did not work as advertised. Though not an inconvenience for us, the ad should reflect this.

The man who came to meet us was friendly and helpful. We loved the location it was very central and easy to find. The terrace was great, shame it was winter and a bit cold.

The apartment was a bit cold, warmer duvets or extra blankets in the winter would be good. The apartment would look good with a lick of paint it was a bit shabby looking.

The shower has a broken window pane. The bedding was damp in patches. The steps leading to the apartment are unsafe, with missing tiles, uneven surfaces, inconsistent lighting (some switches are almost dangling wires only).

Appartment well equipped, we had everything we need during our 5 days stay. Metro station just in a few steps walking, such as suppermarket and “patisserie” (to buy really good croissants in the morning).
We were very happy with this apartm.

TOUR EIFFEL 4 - Paris

What an awesome place we stayed in. Just around the corner from the Eiffel Tower, a supermarket and shops, cafes etc right at your front door. Our contact person was fantastic and provided everything we needed in terms of information. GREAT

Nothing … we will stay there when we next come to Paris.

- The apartment was very cold and the heating was not turned on when we arrived.

BENEDETTA - Florence

Very charming place decorated with a very good taste. Location just perfect for all types of tourism. We had a very pleasant stay and we warmly recommand the place to live very confortably.

We were just afraid by the fct there was a discothèque just in the “feet” of the aprtment and indeed wen people exit the discothèque at 5 am it was a really nightmare. But fortunatly, the noise the other days was OK.

It was better than described online! Recommended! The owner was very nice to us and if it’s too rainy to go out, you won’t get bored as the apartment has its own mini (not so small) collection of DVDs and books!

It’s 10 minutes by foot away from the closest metro station so in rainy days; or after a day walking Milan it’s not the best thing. However it’s a little detail which may be overlooked.

Location is very good, with several metro stations nearby, and only walking distance to many important sights and excellent shopping. The internet connection (wifi) and TV worked well. Clean place with a good kitchen. Very good for families.

Poor lights in the apartment, especially bedroom. Drafty windows and too little heating. No firewood for the (working?) fireplace. Dull knives in the kitchen.

The apartment is in a great neighbourhood, close to places of interest, close to places to eat, and made it easy to get around. The agent was friendly and helpful, happy to be contacted and pleasant to deal with. Good hot water in shower.

Drains very bad, smell plus backfill. neighbours water use audible, dubious billing practices (both banks denied the charges attributed by the owner), heating inadequate, bad hot water in kitchen.

Good area, close to subway, high speed internet, beautiful courtyard, which can be seen from the windows of the bedroom and kitchen. Very cozy atmosphere, concise and consistent classic style design suites. Extremely attentive and caring hostess, good neighbors.
We were very comfortable all the time. Remains the best memories. Hopefully still take advantage of these apartments. Grateful hostess and service “Only Apartments”.

A small kitchen and bathroom. However, this modest shortcoming can not affect the overall impression.

Excellent Location, next Passy Market and several modest restaurants. Flat a back garden semi-basement very quiet. Warm, pleasant and well equipped.

Wifi present, but impenetrable even though passwords supplied. Digital TV barely tunable. Only the double bed made up, presumably on the assumption we were a “couple”. Tiny glasses. Otherwise fine.

I was very disappointed to be charged an extra €35 when we arrived for arrival after 10pm when the booking confirmation clearly stated no restrictions

The apartment at Ample 2 is well located and great for all attractions to be visited! With 2 showers and enough space for 7 people it was suitable for what we required but that was about it..

On arrival to be told we had to be quiet and that local residents and business’s were in the building was a let down, especially as the apt held 7? shower was freezing cold and the apartment lacked a good clean and painting

linen stank, landord kept coming into the flat while we where out!! told us he would keep some of our deposit if we left light on at night, then he came a took bulbs out in hallway, terrible way to let apartment do not recommend!!

We had a great time in the apartment. The place was fully equiped with everything we needed (kitchen, internet, bathroom), and was clean and new. The owner was very welcoming and helpful.

We felt that 5pm was a bit late for check in, 3pm would have been acceptable.
The only complaint with the apartment was the bed which was not very strong (and we are not overweight people!!).

The apartment is in a great location - easy to walk to all the major sites in Rome. Fun area. Very clean and comfortable. Nice fittings and plenty of space. Shops close by. Easy to find.

It was noisy at night but that is Rome. They did not supply a few basics eg olive oil, tea and coffee. A guest book would have been useful eg map, local shop, restuarant recommendations.

No heating but airconditioning and the apartment is on the street front (corner) and the top floor, it may be cold during colder (winter) days;
Restaurant just the oposite side of the street, popular among young people, which can be noisy

The apartment is very well located in the center of Rome. And big enough for a family of 5. The bed rooms are spacious, the beds are big and soft. The kitchen is small but well equiped.

The living, dining, kitchen and bathroom are quite small but big enough to spend a few days. The apartment, in general, needs a bit of more cleaning and painting but it is cozy and the location can beat all the negatives.

The location is amazing - we walked to so many places in central Barcelona.

The kitchen needs updating - you wouldn’t want to cook a large meal in it and the floor & the sink are dirty & old. One of the beds is uncomfortable. The apartment is quite dark and there were quite a few power cuts.

No internet! website is misinformed. We got a T-Mobile wireless modem which requires installation. Wasted a lot of vacation time trying to use it.
Heating is gas-based, and I would have been happier to get safety information about it.

Really nice apartment in a great, trendy, location. Marcin was very helpful. Fantastic value for money. I would rent this apartment again.

Although the apartment seems newly refurbished, there were a few tiny nails sticking out between the floorboards. We were with our baby so we had to check really closely before we could let her crawl on the floor.

SUITE 11 - Florence

Perfect welcoming service - our contact spoke excellent english and we were able to report delay in our arrival (due to excessive falls of snow in Milan!). Apartment was clean, well-equiped and in a nice central location.

There are a lot of steps up to this 3rd floor apartment (70 of the little devils). There isn’t much a view from the windows as the apartment faces onto a ‘courtyard’ - basically other peoples apartments and washing lines.

the location was good, apartment really large and comfortable with good heating.

i loved the high ceilings and space in the apartment and would book again if the mattress was replaced.

the website was good.

the bed matrresses were a bit old uncomfortable with the springs poking me in the back.

the washing machine was really old and covered with cleaning products so not sure if it worked.
there was no microwave in the litchen.

Bathroom and kitchen “windows” were actually rather thin pieces of wood that let in a lot of noise from people in the stairwell (and in and out of the front door), rather noisy and loud. Near the hospital, so did hear a few sirens.

The location couldnt be any better, its right in the middle of the city. Our contact person was friendly and nice, also very flexible since we arrived in the middle of the night. The apartment was super cute and cosy.

Our first night was very cold, then we figured out how to use the heating properly. We were a bit disappointed with the equipment, but all in all they were ok. The neighbours were a bit noisy time to time, sometimes during the night too.

The place was smelly and moldy. Internet worked for one day then it was disconnected. The TV never worked. Everything seemed filthy and the bathroom was full of mold. There was no service we had to share ONE towel for 5 days. Not recommended.

Pretty charming old house, great area. All necessary equipment available except dish washer. Two bathrooms, ideal for a group. Parking lot at the central bus station near Metro “Arc de triomphe” is much cheaper then the parking lots close by.

Front bed room (facing the street) was pretty noisy. Towels provided smelled bad (try fabric softener next time). The water heater is too small for a group of more than three. “Absolute silence” policy and threatening of eviction is rude!

Owner’s personal touch everywhere. Feels like staying in the home of a friend. Stylish, modern, sober, Excellent audio/video. Free internet access. Owner helpful and courteous. Kitchen small but well equiped. Tranquil.

No lift, but owner helps with your luggage. As you are staying in somebody’s home, some special care and attention is desirable, like you do in your own home.

WOnderful Location. Very helpful and responsive caretakers. COmfortable and very family friendly.

Was very compact. Initially not enough beding supplied, though problem was quickly rectified.

- Tomasz, the apartment’s owner, was very helpful & friendly and made himself available for assistance any time.

- We had a problem with the gas stoves but it was promptly fixed.

Annastasia is a very warm and friendly. We can find all what we need in apartment. Everything mentioned on the website is the same as what we found in the apartment.

ATOCHA ATICO - Madrid

The apartment was close to the Atocha metro and train station which was very convenient, also there were plenty of small supermarkets and food outlets within walking distance. The lady who let us in was wonderful and helpful.

There was a mouse hole and attendant mouse in the second bedroom! My daughter didn’t tell me untill we had left because she knew I’d freak out. The mouse hole was hidden behind the dresser. Apartment was small with a hotel sized living space.

MONUMENTAL 1.1 - Barcelona

Very nice lovely apartment for 8 of us. There was a shop downstairs as well, so that was lovely, but many things like tea, coffee and oil were provided. Maria, contact person was very nice to let us put our stuff for an extra half day.

Quiet residential area with few restaurants. Bathroom door was leaking a bit. Hot water didn’t seem sufficient to support 2 people bathing at the same time. Would be good to leave instructions for how to operate hob.

The apartment was clean and tidy. Had all the required items that you would expect to find.

The owner was very friendly and very kind by allowing us to stay an extra night during the Eurostar problems (Dec 2009)

APARTMENT DUSNI - Prague

The location of the apartment was great. The Old Town Square is literally just around the corner from the apartment and there are numerous restaurants around to choose from. So many things to see walking distances.

There’s suppose to be wireless internet but we were unable to connect. The bathroom was a little too small but clean.

Location of unit was excellent 200 mts from the Rambla in Barcelona. Adequate for our needs.

The park at night was “edgy”. Fridge was full of water. No internet coverage. Tried to ring for assistance at the appointed time and no one was there. Beds were not comfortable.

BERLIN BELLEVUE - Berlin

Really enjoyed our stay here, the apartment itself was great value for money - warm, clean and bright. And only a few S-Bahn stops from the major attractions.

It was quite hard to communicate with the contact person as he spoke pretty much no english. When there was a mix-up as to the number of people staying in the apartment this language barrier made sorting things out especially difficult!

THE HERMANN 1, Berlin: Our contact person was really helpful and a great guy!
Location was close to train station which was brilliant for two girls travelling out on their own. Apartment was also cosy and warm when outside was in the minus!

Was given wrong contact person via email before arriving so had to make an expensive call on mobile phone to landlady who was in Australia!
A problem with the heating/water system meant it clanked all night so didn’t get a good nights sleep
