I think the best free activity in Barcelona is

just to walk through the city and discover it. The architecture and parks are amazing. You can

of course admire Gaudi’s buildings from the outside for free including La Sagrada Família, La

Pedrera, Park Güell and many more sights throughout the city.
Museums are of course free on

the first Sunday of the Month. Many museums across Europe open their doors for free one day per

month (usually the First Sunday, but sometimes the first Tuesday.
